The Girl Scout program offers incredible opportunities for girls to grow in their leadership skills, develop lifelong friendships, and earn awards. Girls discover who they are and what they value. They connect with others and take action to make the world a better place.

Our Program Guide is packed with something for everyone. Each program is designed so that your girl can do the things she likes best - in a troop, on her own or with a friend.

Whether your girl wants to visit the magical world of fairies, meet a ballerina, solve a mystery at camp,
learn to code or dabble in digital photography, the 2015/2016 Program Guide has something for everyone!

She'll soon be saying "I can't wait to..."

Online registration begins on September 1 and printable forms will also be available for your convenience if you wish to register via mail or fax.

The New Girl Leadership Experience Center

Even before we moved to our new location in Warwick, RI, we started to create a vision for the lower level of the building that would provide state of the art program facilities for the girls in our council.

The first step of that visioning is complete. We'll focus on six areas of excellence that will be integrated into all of our efforts going forward - both in the Center and via programs conducted in the communities we serve. We'll partner with the best and brightest individuals, organizations, and institutions to deliver exciting and high-quality programming for girls in these categories:

  • STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math)
  • Making a Difference
  • Life Skills
  • Travel and Adventure
  • Camping and Outdoor Skills
  • Global Citizenship

More exciting news to follow. Click here for a summary of the Leadership Center Visioning Task Force's report.

The Rhody Rockets

Our council boasts a winning canoe team called The Rhody Rockets. The team competes each year in the General Clinton Canoe Regatta in Bainbridge, NY, which attracts more than 1,500 paddlers to 50 races on the Susquehanna River. The event is held over Memorial Day weekend.

At the 2015 event, held over Memorial Day weekend, we really cleaned up!rhody rockets
