Scholarship Opportunities
It's no secret that Girl Scouts builds girls of courage, confidence and character. Therefore, we are often contacted by scholarship-giving entities asking us to publicize scholarship (and other) opportunities for girls in our council -- and our young alumnae. We have listed them here for your convenience, arranged by deadline.
Most information sent to us focuses on opportunities for girls who live in Rhode Island, but please click here for a long list of sponsorships administered by the Community Foundation of Southeastern MA.

East Greenwich Rotary Scholarship Fund - Two scholarships are awarded annually ($1000 and $2000) to graduating high school seniors who:
-Have been active members of Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts at some time during their school years.
-Live in East Greenwich or a contiguous community, or have been a member of a scouting unit in one of these communities.
-Will enroll in an institute of higher learning (college, tech program, etc) in the fall following graduation.
-Submit an essay for evaluation by the East Greenwich Rotary Scholarship Fund.
